That level of shifting companies indicates a continuing return to the patterns seen before the Covid-19 epidemic. At the beginning of the epidemic, the job of buying auto insurance increased: 45% of auto insurance buyers bought new auto insurance quotes, reduced coverage, company changes or discarded their policies.
J.D. Power also measures consumer loyalty to auto insurance companies on a quarterly basis. In Q1 2021 compared to the previous quarter, these companies increased consumer loyalty:
